Sugar Detox

My 5 “Tips” to Detox

nosugar

  1. C lean House. Remove sugary foods from the home and office, out of site, out of mind.
  2. Plan Plan Plan.  Make a meal plan that includes snacks. Don’t underestimate potential cravings. Don’t forget to ALWAYS have a PLAN B
  3. Drink Water.  Stay hydrated to be sure when you think you’re hungry it’s not actually dehydration.
  4. Sleep.  Get enough sleep to prevent cravings due to exhaustion and irritability.

    • Yes, the main reason for eliminating even fruit is due to their natural sugars. I LOVE oranges so that above all other things, was the hardest. However, on the “program” you’re allowed either 1 green apple or 1 green tipped banana a day. I made apple slaw, coconut fried apple, apple with bacon, banana pudding… 😉
The point was to get use not having so many sweets in your daily diet and it helped. Had a bite of a paleo cupcake yesterday and it was just too much.

      • Ahh well that’s pretty impressive! I’m trying to reduce intake of sugars aswell, but I NEED fruit in stead of those other artifical sweetness around me, Im just so happy that fruit exist, otherwise I would’nt make it through the day haha!
But keep up the good work! xx (eating a clementine now haha)

Any thoughts?
